Hiii to who-so-ever is possibly reading this and at all interested.
Just a quick update!
Firstly, I had a reeeeallyyy nice weekend with my boyfriend. I met him in Dublin and it was absolutely scorching all day. I made us stop in to buy suncream after meeting him off the train before we went anywhere. Then we headed to Temple Bar because he's on the hunt for cool vintage clothes and I spotted this really nice shirt that he ended up buying. I will also definitely be going back to that shop myself when I'm not on a tight budget, they had some stuff that was right up my alley, and it was very reasonably priced. Then we went to another shop where he had been eyeing up this cool green bomber jacket, but everytime he goes to buy it he has rotten luck. The first time his card declined, the second time the shop wasn't open and alas over the weekend, they didn't have it in the size he wanted :( After that tragedy we went for dinner and I had a really tasty steak and an aperol spritz. I had such a goo on me for an aperol spritz I hadn't had one in aaaaages, and it was made so well, the type where they put a healthy measure of aperol in ;) After dinner we had an hour to kill before the bus so we went to another shop, before losing track of time and promptly legging it to get the next bus. When we got back to mine we chilled out for a bit and he ended up having a nap. Afterwards we went out to the pub and stopped in for (the most middling) pizza and chips (I have ever had in my life.) Drinks were fun. I remember saying something that made him laugh a lot, I can't remember what it was I said though. He wore his new shirt and I wore a new dress I got a couple of weeks ago off of vinted. We stayed out late and it felt like it hardly got dark. God bless the summertime!
The next day we rose late and went down to the deli in the garage about five minutes from my house for breakfast. We went for a walk then to the ruins by my house and I had the bright idea for us to go for a dip in the river. We scurried back to mine and I got the swimming stuff and we went walking down to a spot in the river. On the way we were looking at the wildflowers on the river walk and he was commenting about how he never really sees bees anymore when what did we see sitting on the flowers only a bee! We got into the (admittedly very murky looking) river and stood in it for a few minutes. Fish came up to us and started (?)nibbling/(?)licking our feet, his moreso than mine. We were only standing in it because it looked suspiciously red for a river and neither of us fancied getting that nasty looking water up past our waists. It was a lovely spot to cool of in though. After we got out, we headed up to a seasonal vintage show and looked at old tractors and cars (right up his alley) and vintage decorations and traditional Irish crafts (right up my alley) and they had all goats and chickens and sheep on display. We then headed home for Sunday roast with my family and tea, and then he headed home. It was a really really fantastic weekend.
With regards to this website, it all seems to be going a bit topsy turvy, but I suppose things have to get worse before they get better. I've moved all (three of) my blogs into a folder on my dashboard/profile, which is fantastic organisationally, but for whatever reason doing this seems to fuck up the way some of the code works particularly in relation to background images. I'm kinda clueless as to how to fix this, hopefully there is some way that doesn't involve scattering them all over my dashboard again. I'll see if there's any forums that might have an answer for me. I've been trying to gain access to the forums on onio.club by registering for the site but my registration hasn't gone to well so I'm in a bit of a rock and a hard place on there as well, tho I'm sure there are other tech forum websites on here where I can enquire. That's the reason tho for general lack of decoration on this post. With these blogs (for now anyway) it's moreso about getting fingers to keyboard rather than beautiful presentation or profound topics. Just general memory recall brain exercises. Sorry that this post looks a bit doodoo as a result. Also haven't done anymore courses on codecademy since Friday so I'd like to get back on that. Anyway that's all for today :D
Sin é!
